First-annual Porsche Sports Cup – Circuit Mont-Tremblant
On August 14-15th, 2021 Circuit Mont-Tremblant was an outlet for interested Mark Motors Porsche clients to feel closer to their road cars. Customers were invited to sign up for the event, schedule a pre-event Track Check with our Service Department and geared up in their best Driver’s Selection apparel to enjoy a day of spirited driving.
The flow of the day started with a classroom session to tame the adrenaline after arriving at Circuit Mont Tremblant. The classroom session was led by a trained Porsche instructor who explained the mechanics, physics and overall performance of the Porsche engineering. Once the information session ended and they indulged in a delightful catered lunch and then hit the track to engage in some exercises. Drivers participated in driving modules such as: slalom, autocross, skid pad, breaking exercises, lead-follow on track and time attack lapping! Guests and Mark Motors Porsche employees provided an extra element of support for our Porsche Drivers - From cheering them on to the finish lines to getting them there with technical support / quick fixes! “The goal of a driver development day like today is to ensure that every attendee walks away having learned something new about their Porsche car. If they do and leave with a smile, we have had a successful day. We saw lots of smiles as we waved them goodbye” said General Manager, Paul Renaud
“The day started mysterious with a low fog and a chill in the air. But quickly the sun burned it off and it turned into a beautiful day. And in the same manner our drivers learned the layout of the track
and warmed up the tires. It was a full day of great learning and driving. Everyone keep it between the lines and a great time was had by all. Even an authentic German lunch the schnitzel was great. It was an amazing mix of Porsche years and models.” Says Tim Whelan Mark Motors Porsche Sales Manager
